1996 winner Buddy Lazier could make the first qualifying attempt when
time trials get started at 11 a.m. EDT today.
Lazier drew the No. 2 spot behind the backup car for Ryan Briscoe.
Lazier has had very limited time on the track this week – Friday’s near total
washout didn’t help – with just 18 laps and a best speed of 218.277.
Practice is scheduled to get under way at 8 a.m. EDT.
